24 wonderful hours
Charley is now a day old and we love her more by the minute. She's sleeping well, getting the hang of breastfeeding, and of course continuing to look pretty in pink. Lauren is recovering rapidly, already walking around and freshening up. Thanks to all the special visitors in person and in spirit via the massive flood of email and text messages yesterday!

You are looking good, girl. Keep that smile bright. I sent messages and your blog address to many folks at AVID Center so they can follow your days with Charlottte. Enjoy the rest you can get in the hospital.

O my gosh what a gorgeous baby! And great to see Lauren smiling too. Way to go Mamasita!! What a day that must have been. Whew, I was feeling for you. Jane was a whopper at 9 lb 2 oz... can't imagine adding another 10 oz to that!
Congrats to you all. Take the days slow and easy, and get lots of rest. It's such hard work, but for better or worse, this phase goes by so quickly. We miss you! A big hug to all - especially the new big brother Diego. :-)
