Smiles!

Right on schedule, Charley woke up this morning smiling! Around 6 weeks (which she is today), one might see a social smile in a baby....and she's been giving us "smirks" for a couple weeks (she has a sweet dimple on her right cheek, too!). But this morning, we saw multiple smiles and even a little bit of laughing when we teased her with her burp cloth and made some funny noises. She smiled over and over, and we were so tickled! These are the milestones we missed with Diego since he was already 4 1/2 months old by the time we met him. So, these small, yet significant moments are so special, and we cherish them. We'll try to snap a photo of her sweet smile and post it soon!
