7 Weeks Old

Charley was 7 weeks old yesterday. She is more alert and active than ever, sometimes to the point of our exhaustion! She's still sleeping well at night....even gave us a full 8 hours the other night. But that was short lived...she is back to her 1 am hunger call : ) We are enjoying our "stayholiday" or "staycation" or "Holistay" as many people are describing it. We ventured to Vashon Island on Saturday and enjoyed exploring the wild space of this beautiful place. Yesterday, we enjoyed a morning at church where Diego participated in a short program celebrating the end of the year's religious education program. My middle level kids also did a short presentation as well. Then, we basked in the afternoon sun on our deck, and even got a bit burned! It's another beautiful day and we're soon off to some new local adventure!
