Life continues to be busy for us in the PNW. Christian has started a new rotation at Children's Hospital. Lauren has started her new job with Bellevue School District as the professional development specialist for AVID, and Diego has a new nanny, Elizabeth. She is a lovely Mexican mother of four who lives just 15 blocks down the street from us! She is lovely, and Diego really seems to like her. Today, when I left, he waved good-bye (after making sure I was "coming back soon"). Seattle is still blessed with warm weather, so Diego and Christian headed out to their favorite park nearby for a scooter and skateboard ride, while I am relaxing at home, watching Friends. We've had many guests over the past few weeks, and it has been so much fun touring the city with them, getting to know our new homestead. Love to all, and Happy September!

Diego's aspiration is to ride our neighbors' Harley....for now, his tricycle will have to do!
